(Mankato, MN) – Mankato police say a man was arrested in connection to a convenience store robbery over the weekend.

Daniel David Schultz, 24, of Mankato, was jailed on possible charges of felony simple robbery, second-degree robbery, and fifth-degree assault.

Casey’s General Store on North Riverfront Drive was robbed just before midnight Friday night.  Police asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the robber on Saturday, saying an unspecified amount of money was taken.

Schultz was not on the Blue Earth County Jail roster as of Monday morning.  He had not yet been formally charged.
