Semi driver injured in Highway 60 crash

(Mankato, MN) – A semi drier was injured in a crash Sunday afternoon in Cottonwood County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 45-year-old James Edward Matthews of St. James, lost control of his semi on Highway 60 just east of Bingham Lake, shortly before 12:30 p.m.

The semi entered the median and rolled on its side.

Matthews was transported to Windom Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the patol.

Roads were snow and ice-covered at the time of the crash.
