Pillsbury’s New Churro Toaster Strudel Has a Cinnamon Sugar Filling and Chocolate Icing
Toaster Strudel is an objectively great breakfast food. Like don’t even try to fight me on this one. It’s pure, sugar-filled perfection. So imagine my complete and utter delight when I learned of Pillsbury’s latest flavor launch, Churro.
*Hold for applause.* YEP, it exists.
Instagram snack scout @JunkBanter broke the news to social media, writing, “very quietly, a new Toaster Strudel has joined the fray. I found these new Churro Toaster Strudel at Redners (a store that barely exists), and I had to do a double take to see if it really was new.”
Unlike similar strudels, Snickerdoodle, Cinnamon Roll, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, etc., the Churro flavor is stuffed with a cinnamon sugar filling and comes with a chocolate icing. Though they’ve already hit select stores, the roll-out is reportedly scarce. “Be on the lookout in a store near you, where you will probably not find them for another 3 months because that’s just how this stuff seems to work,” JunkBanter added.
And while the wait is, well, straight up torture, you do have a lot of great flavors to sample in the meantime. The current lineup includes Glazed Donut, Boston Cream Pie, Cinnamon Roll, and more. So no, you won’t go hungry waiting for its arrival.
