Mom Buys Kids DVD, Turns Out To Be “The Exorcist”

When you’re a parent, sometimes you just want to pop your kid down in front of the TV, flip on some children’s programming and have a few moments to yourself. But that wasn’t to be the case for one British mother.
Beth Golding bought her three-year-old Treasure Planet on DVD and gave it to her son for Christmas. When it came time for viewing, Golding noticed something wasn’t quite right. Instead of the animated Disney film, they were treated to the head spinning, pea soup spitting classic The Exorcist.
The 22-year-old mom admits her son didn’t see anything thankfully, but when she complained to the store where she purchased the movie, they said she could have her money back but no additional compensation.
