(Mankato, MN) – The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was detected in a man injured in a motorcycle crash Friday evening in Nicollet County.

Michael Lee Moe, 51, was westbound on Highway 99 in Oshawa Township at 6:31 p.m. when his Honda motorcycle lost control and entered the ditch, coming to rest on its side, according to the crash report.

Moe was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with non-life threatening injuries.

The state patrol says he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
